Our lives have changed! Can you imagine 9 of the cutest Labrador puppies in your dining room? Butter had 3 chocolate lab puppies and 6 black lab puppies. All are healthy and absolutely beautiful. Butter has been wonderful with her puppies. Very attentive.
Although only 2 days old, already they are developing personalities. It is very funny spending time watching them. We are vigilant that the puppies are never alone. Keeping them warm, rotating them to make sure all are nursing, weighing them so we can monitor their weight gain. We have a 4 foot by 8 foot whelping pen in our dining room. This is where all the chaos & magic is happening.
